So we went fishing yesterday. First of all,  it took us two and a half hours at least to get there because the mountain has snow. Remember that zigzag part of the mountain before Winter Park? Well, it was snowing up there and icy cold. I wanted to go back after seeing that but my husband said no, the kids will be disappointed and besides we were almost there.  We left around 5am so the kids were sleep the whole time. I was so scared and praying that we make it out there ok and SOON. We got to Winter Park by 7:20 and stopped at Mcdonalds for breakfast.  The kids woke up and started talking about fishing. We noticed that the water was really low and frozen for the most part. I guess it was a little early for fishing, but unless the kids sees the water, they're not convinced that the lake was frozen. What do you know? not a lot of fish. Around 9am people started coming in and started catching fish but not us. One group, within 10 minutes got a fish. You should see the kids faces. By 12pm that same group caught 8 and started packing and left. Of course we still didn't have any. My 9 year old decided he's done and giving up AND STARTED CRYING poor baby. I'm not really good at fishing and so does my husband, but we're trying because the kids loves it. I don't know where they got that but that's all they can think about these days. We promised to take them often and hope to GOD we catch some fish this summer. Well, it was our first try this year and plenty of time right? right.............. Still, the kids had fun so it was a great day for all of us. till next time.
