I got a call from my sister back home. Her one and only apo(grandchild) is in ICU for dengue. I was shocked. We're talking about a 5 or 6 month old baby here and in the ICU for a few days now.The doctors told her they barely made it to the hospital for them to save the baby. 2 days later, her other son was rushed to the hospital for the same reason, so now she's beyond herself with worry. She requested a room with two beds so it's easier for her to take care of the kids but the hospital is full of dengue patients. In fact, when the baby comes out of ICU, they don't even have a room for her. Now the baby's mom is also sick. She asked her daughter to go home and rest because her fever was so high, she doesn't want her to get worse but she doesn't want to leave her baby in the ICU. My sister's been staying in the hospital taking care of her patients. I'm just wondering how big is the hospital bill by the time they come out. you know how it is back home.
So what exactly is dengue????????? All i know is...it's a bite from a mosquito that's carrying a disease. And it can be lethal. In fact, a lot of people died from dengue and it's still a big danger back home. I'm praying for a quick recovery soon for all of them. MAY GOD KEEP YOU SAFE AND FREE OF DISEASE.
I have a full schedule this week especially tomorrow. I have 4 appointments tomorrow and another one wants to get in there too. My networking has been working for me and i'm hoping something will come out from it. I've been enjoying going to diff events and meeting a lot of people. It seems that more people now are networking than ever. Maybe they're seeing the results of their efforts as i see mine.
I'm still waiting for other bloggers that i tagged to respond to my request. It's still early so i'm not worried, in fact it was just last night that i started doing this. Tonight i'll try to check some other sites again and see what happens.
